Dr. Vana Papakitsou is a psychologist, psychotherapist, and criminologist. She studied psychology and sociology and completed her Master’s and Ph.D. in criminology at Panteion University, focusing on teen dating violence. Vana’s research interests include adolescent violence, intimate partner violence, child abuse, victimization, violence prevention, and the empowerment of children and adolescents. She is a Psychology Professor at Metropolitan College, specializing in criminology and forensic psychology, and a school psychologist. She is also a Scientific Collaborator at the Restorative Justice and Mediation Laboratory at Panteion University. Vana has published widely and authored “Forms of Violence in Adolescent Partner Relationships.”
