Stefania Gyftopoulou

Stefania Gyftopoulou is an architect and urbanist with an MSc in Building and Urban Design in Development from UCL’s Development Planning Unit (DPU). She has over eight years of experience managing sustainable urban development projects funded by the EU, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders at both the EU and local levels, including NGOs, municipal and government bodies, as well as private sector actors. Her expertise lies in integrated and participatory approaches to urban policy design, co-management, and governance, addressing various urban challenges such as affordable housing, cultural heritage, climate adaptation, and the integration of migrants and refugees.
