At TEDxAthens, we believe that ‘Great Ideas Change Everything’, and we have made significant efforts to ensure that everyone can participate equally in their sharing, regardless of how they move or perceive the environment.
We have ensured that the event takes place in an accessible venue for people with mobility challenges and individuals with disabilities.
There will be accessible parking spaces for people with disabilities.
There will be convenient seating in the workshop, as well as unobstructed movement, at the food areas and after event drinks area.
For people with visual or mobility impairments, there will be assistance available to guide them around the event and help with meals if requested.
In addition to physical access, there will also be access to the content.
For neurodivergent individuals, a quiet decompression space will be available.
Finally, as we understand the challenges of traveling to the event venue, as well as the possible need for a person with a disability to be accompanied by a companion, we provide a free ticket for the companion of any disabled person who needs one.
If you have any questions on the coming event, you can contact us at regional@tedxathens.com .
